Hypoglycemic and Hepatoprotective Activity of Fermented Fruit Juice of Morinda citrifolia (Noni) in Diabetic Rats.

Diabetic rats were treated with noni juice or glibenclamide orally for 20 days. Both the groups had significantly lower blood glucose levels than those in an untreated group. Animals in the untreated group had significantly more fatty degeneration of the liver than those of the noni juice and glibenclamide groups.
