This article is a review of plants that have been known for biologically active components. Prior to the date of this review, about 200 compounds have been isolated from noni. These include anthraquinones, fatty acid derivatives, flavonoids, iridoids, lignans, phenylpropanoids, saccharide derivatives, and triterpenoids. The in vitro and in vivo activities of noni and its compound are discussed. (original abstract available at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20804827).
