Studies on antidyslipidemic effects of Morinda citrifolia (Noni) fruit, leaves and root extracts.
Mandukhail SU, Aziz N, Gilani AH.
Morinda citrifolia fruit, leaf and root extracts were fed to rats on a high fat diet. The extracts caused significant reductions in total cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein-cholesterol, atherogenic index and TC/HDL ratio. The root extract also increased high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (good cholesterol) levels. (view original abstract at https://lipidworld.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1476-511X-9-88).
