Chemical analysis of a multiherbal product reportedly associated with a case of hepatotoxicity revealed that it is devoid of several phytochemical markers for noni and that it contained < 1% noni fruit juice.  Other major ingredients, such as aloe vera, are more likely the cause of the reported hepatoxicity.
