Mammary tumor latency, incidence, multiplicity, and metastatic incidence in female mice were unaffected by TNJ treatment, indicating that it does not increase or decrease breast cancer risk in women taking TNJ for other benefits. As TNJ did reduce tumor weight and volume, it may help enhance treatment responses in women with existing HER2/neu breast cancer.
