Noni juice was found to effectively treat inflammation in the paws of mice that was caused by Leishmanisis parasitic infection. Further, drinking noni juice for 60 days decreased lesion size and parasite load in the footpad. The infection sites of noni-fed mice had less markers of inflammation and improved extracellular matrix protein synthesis when compared to untreated controls.
