Sixty breast cancer survivors with recurrent bacterial cystitis were treated with either a combined treatment of cystitis N-acetylcysteine, D-mannose, noni fruit extract and antibiotics (n=40), or with antibiotics alone (n=20). Those receiving the combined treatment experienced a reduction in urinary tract infections and improvements in symptoms, compared to those who received antibiotics alone.
