Two new phytochemicals were found in the Morinda citrifolia Linn fruit. These were named morinaphthalene and morindafurone. Two other previously known compounds—1,8-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-methyl-9-anthrone and 2,4-dimethoxy-9-anthrone— were also identified in the fruit.  (view original abstract at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18855212).
