Five new fatty acid esters, and other previously known compounds, were isolated from noni fruit. Most of these compounds inhibited the in vitro growth of B16 melanoma cells. The activities of these compounds against two human cancer cell lines (HL-60 and AZ521), and their inhibitory effects on Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV-EA) activation, were also evaluated.
